For those of the Polish persuasion, the 25th anniversary booklet for St. Ladislaus — in Polish, no less. Formerly located on W. Hunting Park Avenue, St. Ladislaus was one of the more recent victims of the North Philadelphia Swath of Destruction, closing in 2003.
A very handsome Polish church, the building was stripped and promptly demolished for Triumph Baptist, a 5,000 member megachurch which still stands on the site. (Don't Google map that, unless you want blood pressure to skyrocket).
Many of the fixtures can be seen in Blue Bell's St. Helena, where they do a decent job of classing up a crappy suburban edifice.
