TO ALL FRIENDS OF THE PHILADELPHIA CHURCH PROJECT:
If you thought turning one was special, wait until the Project starts the “terrible twos!” That’s right, get ready for lots of sass, temper tantrums and misbehaving.
In other words, an ordinary day for me.
The Project continues to be a successful, popular endeavor, if not necessarily an easy one. That will be the challenge of this, the third year. I have so far been blessed to have the means and the opportunity to do this on a pretty regular basis. But circumstances can and do change, and my life is not the same as it was at this time last year. I simply cannot promise that I’ll be able to devote the same time and attention as I have in the past. My Christmas hiatus was the first (and perhaps not the last) example of that.
That doesn’t mean the Project is an endangered species. It’s proven too valuable to simply let drop, so don’t go tearing your clothes and inching closer to that ledge over there. Updates may occur less frequently at times, but they WILL occur.
I don’t know where this year is going to lead, but I do know this: there’s plenty of churching left to do. Hopefully you’ll continue to join us for the ride.
Best Regards,
The Project
P.S. Once again, birthday gifts are highly encouraged.
